- Coleslaw has several posts, best read in order:First of all, good news, I have A Lot to Look Forward To. But as that post makes clear, there is one problem connected with the good news, and the sermon Yesterday at Church did not help. I expand on this in Why Yesterday’s Sermon Bothered Me. Content note: There is a graphic in that last post that is supposed to be a guide to counseling victims of abuse, only it’s pretty much a way to abuse them more. You have to click on the graphic to see it large enough to read it, however, so that should help.
In Case You Missed This
- Coleslaw writes:In case you missed this, you are going to need the cute cat picture in the next post as an antidote. Libby Ann has a post about Bill Gothard’s resignation from IBLP (Major content warning: The post contains a graphic that IBLP uses in “counseling” (really, further abusing) victims of sexual abuse. It is impossible to describe how horrible and antithetical to real counseling it is, but apparently there have been young victims “counseled” in just this way.
Now I have to go look at the kittehs some more.
