Deconstruction Round Up, March 28th, 2014

(by the Slacktiverse and others; collected by Silver Adept, while chris the cynic plots the downfall of the greedy elite.)

The point of these posts is threefold:

  1. To let people stay up to date on ongoing deconstructions. (All ones on our list, including finished and stalled ones, here.)
  2. To let people who can’t comment elsewhere have a place to comment.
  3. To let people comment in a place where people who can’t read disqus can see what they have to say.

Ana Mardoll: Ana Mardoll’s Ramblings

Multiple Deconstructions:

Erika M. and Will Wildman: Something Short and Snappy

Fred Clark: Slacktivist

Froborr: My Little Po-Mo

InsertAuthorHere: My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic

Mouse: Mouse’s Musings

Philip SandiferPhilip Sandifer: Writer (formerly TARDIS Eruditorum: A Psychochronography in Blue)

Please comment or e-mail us if we’ve forgotten anybody or you have anyone to add. Or if any links are broken, or if you’re linked to and don’t want to be, or if [insert thing that does not sequit here], or for more or less any reason really.

We should probably include Libby Anne’s deconstruction of the Pearl’s books on Love, Joy, Feminism. They’re not fiction (they are respectively a “parenting” and “marriage” book), but I think a lot of people would be interested in them. Here’s her listing for Created to Need a Helpmeet (http://www.patheos.com/blogs/lovejoyfeminism/tag/created-to-need-a-help-meet) and To Train Up a Child (http://www.patheos.com/blogs/lovejoyfeminism/tag/to-train-up-a-child). However, because both of them involve methods of relating to people that border on if not march straight into the realm of abuse with absolutely no shame, we’ll need some serious trigger warnings / content notes.
