Deconstruction Roundup for December 23rd, 2016

(by the Slacktiverse and others; collected by Silver Adept, who lost a dog yesterday.)

The point of these posts is threefold:

  1. To let people stay up to date on ongoing deconstructions. (All ones on our list, including finished and stalled ones, here.)
  2. To let people who can’t comment elsewhere have a place to comment.
  3. To let people comment in a place where people who can’t read Disqus can see what they have to say.

Let us know, please, if there are errors in the post. Or if you don’t want to be included. Or if there’s someone who you think should be included, which includes you. We can use more content. Or if you are not really up for celebrating holidays because there’s nothing during those times that gives you joy. Or for any other reason, really.

Sorry about your dog. It’s always sad to lose a loved pet.

Thank you, genesistrine. I loved him a lot, despite mostly just relating to him by feeding, walking, and medicating him.

    It doesn’t lessen the love.

I mostly just relate to my cat by feeding him – he’s a semi-feral who decided to move in, so picking him up, having him on my lap or medicating him in any other way than sneaking up on him and dripping something on the back of his neck may be out of the question for the rest of his life – human contact is very frightening for him. But I love him.

Yeah. I have surviving cats, so there’s still affection and love and frustration to be had with them. It’s been a rough year.

No kidding. Here’s hoping 2017 improves, as much as it can!
